Viva La Ruptura da Bolas! And Viva Portugal!

La Ruptura da Bolas (that’s Portuguese for Ball Busters) kicked ass in the Rollympics. The Portuguese people are probably still praising our names and celebrating our tremendous win last Wednesday night. No need to do a double take, you read it correctly. We finally got our first legitimate “W” of the skeeson. In fact, we increased our score by such a huge margin that the officials labored over our score sheet looking for a calculation error. But they found nothing. One bystander suggested we were taking performance-enhancing drugs but they found nothing. La Ruptura da Bollas were merely lifted up by the support of the Portuguese people who only asked that we spread our wings and soar. And…we did. Angel took back his Cherry AGAIN and Matt kicked ass line driving down the middle. Emily sunk a couple of hundreds and Angela was the ultimate Superfan and Portuguese liaison. Check out the pictures and watch the Rollympics Opening Ceremony. Good luck tonight Ball Busters – just pretend that the Portuguese people are right there rolling with you tonight!

Skee-Ronne Returns To The Game After 25 Years Of Retirement!!!!

At age 3 Tyronne, (aka SkeeRonne) cashed in his 1259 Chuck-E-Cheese skee- ball tickets to take home the coveted 6-foot tall Odie doll (you know, Garfield’s dog…come on!) Realizing a performance like that would be hard to top, he retired from Skee-Ball and focused on other sports like Cheese Rolling, Chess Boxing and Ladder Racing. Despite his immense success in Ladder Racing, he always regretted not pursuing a professional career in Skee-Ball. Tonight he will get a chance to rekindle his love for skee and the world will see if he can bring home a coveted beer koozie (the equivalent to a child’s 6ft Odie, of course). Good luck tonight, Skee-Ronne and the Ball Busters! Roll on!
1983, Skee-Ronne winding up to roll the final ball that would seal the fate of his skee ball career and gain him the coveted Odie doll.
