Angela (aka Balls-to-the-wall-ela) took her skills to the ramp last week in style! look at that form!!! Eat your heart out Jolie! It was the first match of the Skeeson and it was a little bit of a rough start as our bodies re-acclimated to the ball holding, coddling and releasing formations but in true Ball Buster style, we ended the match being …..consistent! Yes, we lost….buuuuuuuut the first game is a warm up game. Right? Right? Despite the “L” we did have some high scores with Angel taking a “High Roller” standing and Matt topping the “Frame High” and “Hundo” chart. Look out Hundo Bloom because Hundo-Bloom-Eating-Matt is comin’ for ya!

Viva La Ruptura da Bolas! And Viva Portugal!
La Ruptura da Bolas (that’s Portuguese for Ball Busters) kicked ass in the Rollympics. The Portuguese people are probably still praising our names and celebrating our tremendous win last Wednesday night. No need to do a double take, you read it correctly. We finally got our first legitimate “W” of the skeeson. In fact, we increased our score by such a huge margin that the officials labored over our score sheet looking for a calculation error. But they found nothing. One bystander suggested we were taking performance-enhancing drugs but they found nothing. La Ruptura da Bollas were merely lifted up by the support of the Portuguese people who only asked that we spread our wings and soar. And…we did. Angel took back his Cherry AGAIN and Matt kicked ass line driving down the middle. Emily sunk a couple of hundreds and Angela was the ultimate Superfan and Portuguese liaison. Check out the pictures and watch the Rollympics Opening Ceremony. Good luck tonight Ball Busters – just pretend that the Portuguese people are right there rolling with you tonight!

Skee-Ronne Returns To The Game After 25 Years Of Retirement!!!!
At age 3 Tyronne, (aka SkeeRonne) cashed in his 1259 Chuck-E-Cheese skee- ball tickets to take home the coveted 6-foot tall Odie doll (you know, Garfield’s dog…come on!) Realizing a performance like that would be hard to top, he retired from Skee-Ball and focused on other sports like Cheese Rolling, Chess Boxing and Ladder Racing. Despite his immense success in Ladder Racing, he always regretted not pursuing a professional career in Skee-Ball. Tonight he will get a chance to rekindle his love for skee and the world will see if he can bring home a coveted beer koozie (the equivalent to a child’s 6ft Odie, of course). Good luck tonight, Skee-Ronne and the Ball Busters! Roll on!
1983, Skee-Ronne winding up to roll the final ball that would seal the fate of his skee ball career and gain him the coveted Odie doll.

For one night only, His Majesty’s Roller has ascended upon the game of skee…
Hailing from the ghetto streets of Manchester, England, His Majesty’s Roller shows no mercy. For those of you who don’t know HMR; let me paint a picture for you. He’s sort of like the Ben Kingsley of skee.
HMR didn’t have it easy. There were no summer skee-ball camps or Chuck E. Cheeses’ in jolly old England. But that didn’t stop HMR. He knew from the first moment he saw skee-ball played in the background of a scene in Pee-Wee Herman’s Big Adventure that skee-ball was his life’s calling. Because there were no skee-ball machines in England, HMR was forced to develop his skee skills by rolling well rounded rocks down a descending alley into Heinz Bean cans. The town of Manchester declared HMR “mad” and “Cack-handed” but he held tight to his dream of one-day skeeing in the big leagues. All that work and thick skin paid off because tonight, His Majesty’s Roller is going to roll for it all when he rolls with The Ball Busters. And we wouldn’t dare call him Cack-Handed!

There's a new team in town...
-and it's called the team of kicking ass and taking names!
While the ladies are doing their downward dog and warrior poses, this skeeson’s Ball Buster team are working out the old fashioned way. With beer and skeeball. Our livers have been training all off skeeson and are wrists are loose and ready to roll. And so far all this training is paying off. Look who’s in 16th place and on the rise and wait a minute, isn’t that a Ball Buster holding first place and 4th place in the art of rolling hundos. 29 Hudos Matt!!! Woo hoo!! Ballbuster’s also hit the frame high list with Matt’s frame high of 39! Wowsers! Anywho’s, I think we can safely say goodbye to our naked David Beckham motivational poster and start putting up some “W’s!” Keep putting em’ in the holes Ball Busters and we’re sure to get some hot skeeball action! Skeeson Wrap Up and Highlights!
Ok, so we did better this Skeeson but not good enough to move out of last place and into some other place, any other place. Nonetheless it was a great skeeson filled with many great moments. Here are the top 10 moments from this Skeeson in no particular order.
1. Winning, Ball Buster style when an opponent “called it” first.
2. Emily utilizing her double joints in speed skeeball mode.
3. Jenn’s balls growing wings and taking names in flight
4. Benson sporting hot pink Ball Buster leg warmers.
5. Getting over 600 in each game. (a low goal maybe, but a goal reached nonetheless).
6. Angel–Peggy kicking ass and showing us the bumper ball move.
7. Peggy discovering unusually large digits.
8. Learning that it’s better to get the balls into the higher number holes.
9. Coming closer to discovering the perfect combo of drinks that makes each of us roll a little better each time.
10. The Charlie Brown Christmas tree, make-up skee, darts, pool, dog training, dinner and new friends.

Angel-Peggy Is A Ringer!!!!!
Who knew that hanging out at Chuck E Cheese until age 25 would pay off in a bigger way then finally cashing in a lifetime of tickets for an oversized Garfield doll. But last night Angel-Peggy's childhood hobby became The Ball Busters saving grace (well, almost). We were very close to winning last night thanks to Angel-Peggy's high rolling and bumper-loving style. I even heard someone say "it's like his balls have wings." It was a fun night and though we missed our girl Peggy, she was there in spirit and points with Angel-Peggy!
