Hailing from the ghetto streets of Manchester, England, His Majesty’s Roller shows no mercy. For those of you who don’t know HMR; let me paint a picture for you. He’s sort of like the Ben Kingsley of skee.
HMR didn’t have it easy. There were no summer skee-ball camps or Chuck E. Cheeses’ in jolly old England. But that didn’t stop HMR. He knew from the first moment he saw skee-ball played in the background of a scene in Pee-Wee Herman’s Big Adventure that skee-ball was his life’s calling. Because there were no skee-ball machines in England, HMR was forced to develop his skee skills by rolling well rounded rocks down a descending alley into Heinz Bean cans. The town of Manchester declared HMR “mad” and “Cack-handed” but he held tight to his dream of one-day skeeing in the big leagues. All that work and thick skin paid off because tonight, His Majesty’s Roller is going to roll for it all when he rolls with The Ball Busters. And we wouldn’t dare call him Cack-Handed!

There's a new team in town...
-and it's called the team of kicking ass and taking names!
While the ladies are doing their downward dog and warrior poses, this skeeson’s Ball Buster team are working out the old fashioned way. With beer and skeeball. Our livers have been training all off skeeson and are wrists are loose and ready to roll. And so far all this training is paying off. Look who’s in 16th place and on the rise and wait a minute, isn’t that a Ball Buster holding first place and 4th place in the art of rolling hundos. 29 Hudos Matt!!! Woo hoo!! Ballbuster’s also hit the frame high list with Matt’s frame high of 39! Wowsers! Anywho’s, I think we can safely say goodbye to our naked David Beckham motivational poster and start putting up some “W’s!” Keep putting em’ in the holes Ball Busters and we’re sure to get some hot skeeball action! Skeeson Wrap Up and Highlights!
Ok, so we did better this Skeeson but not good enough to move out of last place and into some other place, any other place. Nonetheless it was a great skeeson filled with many great moments. Here are the top 10 moments from this Skeeson in no particular order.
1. Winning, Ball Buster style when an opponent “called it” first.
2. Emily utilizing her double joints in speed skeeball mode.
3. Jenn’s balls growing wings and taking names in flight
4. Benson sporting hot pink Ball Buster leg warmers.
5. Getting over 600 in each game. (a low goal maybe, but a goal reached nonetheless).
6. Angel–Peggy kicking ass and showing us the bumper ball move.
7. Peggy discovering unusually large digits.
8. Learning that it’s better to get the balls into the higher number holes.
9. Coming closer to discovering the perfect combo of drinks that makes each of us roll a little better each time.
10. The Charlie Brown Christmas tree, make-up skee, darts, pool, dog training, dinner and new friends.

Angel-Peggy Is A Ringer!!!!!
Who knew that hanging out at Chuck E Cheese until age 25 would pay off in a bigger way then finally cashing in a lifetime of tickets for an oversized Garfield doll. But last night Angel-Peggy's childhood hobby became The Ball Busters saving grace (well, almost). We were very close to winning last night thanks to Angel-Peggy's high rolling and bumper-loving style. I even heard someone say "it's like his balls have wings." It was a fun night and though we missed our girl Peggy, she was there in spirit and points with Angel-Peggy!

Tonight The Part Of Peggy Will Be Played By Angel!
The Ball Busters are not faring well this skeeson. Winter flu has swept our team and taken no mercy along the way, causing us to forfeit two games. Ouch! Even our alternates’ alternates were sick. But tonight we are coming back with a vengeance with the help of one of our seasoned alternates. Angel will make his rolling debut tonight and he has promised to not only bring his A game but his B, C, D and E game as well. And he looks good in a skirt! I feel an upset coming on!

Becks Shall Remain Clothed…. For Now!
Maybe we should move the chains around a little. Set less lofty goals. Like, instead of trying to win a game, maybe we should try to get above 700 points in a match or maybe we should just practice a bit more. Roll some balls on other nights of the week.
Or maybe…(this is still a theory and it hasn’t been tested) but there appears to be a direct correlation between drinks consumed and skee-ball rolling ability. The more we consume, the better we roll. But how many drinks and what type of drink will be the perfect combination that produces a stellar game? And will each roller need a customized combination? When’s the cut off point? Is it when a roller is telling child molester jokes or when they are no longer rolling in their lane? And if the perfect combination is mastered, is it considered a performance-enhancing drug? Thirty-two years from now will we be defending our skee-ball glory days by claiming that we thought it was flaxseed oil that we were drinking? While there are several possible consequences to exploring this theory (headaches, blurred vision, slurred speech, future drug accusations, etc.) I think it’s worth a shot if it means we have a chance to win a game and take off some of Becks clothes. So let’s do it. Let’s start this study at our next game. If not for a chance to win at skee-ball then let’s do it for science and all of mankind.

Would You Skee Like A God If The Reward Is Seeing David Beckham’s Package?
Ok so we lost last night buuuuuuuuuut we played really well, it was a very close game and we finally broke 600. So… as team captain I have found a way to motivate the Ball Busters to really step it up in our upcoming games. This technique was created for a little team called the Cleveland Indians (maybe you’ve heard of them). They were once also called bush league and they went on to win the division title! So I’m pretty sure it will work for us. I present you with David Beckham – The Motivator. That’s right ladies, all you have to do is win a game and a piece of Beckham’s clothes come off. From his sweatband to his pretty pink briefs, DB is ready to support the Ball Busters! The question is; are you ready to support DB?
